A Visit to Korea Tourism Organization (KTO)'s Manila Office [★]

April 12, 2013

Today, I made a quick trip to KTO's office here in Makati to claim my Travel to Korea in Kpop/KDrama Style book, a prize I earned for participating in their Miss Flower Spring Blog Review Contest. I already have a copy of that book (ehem, I went to the book signing!) but I still dropped by to claim it. At least I'd be having two copies - one for actual usage during travel, and the other signed one for keeping in the archives. :D

Their office has a nice receiving area, with lots of books about the country and their culture.

I grabbed one of the booklets and read on. It said something like Hallyu Wave 2012 on the cover but the rest of the characters were in Chinese so I just looked at the pictures on the pages.

As I flipped the pages further, I saw this.

I am surprised and pleased at the same time that JYJ was actually recognized to have achieved much in the music scene in the year 2012. Given that they don't appear in TV programs as singers (because of their trial against SM Entertainment), I am glad that they are still recognized as musicians in some way in their own country. :)

Here are the items that I claimed in their office.

Thank you KTO Manila for these awesome prizes! :D

    1. I'm not so sure, but I think they would. It would be best to contact them first and inquire about that before coming for a visit at their office. Have fun in Korea! :D
