For several days now, my sister and I have been waiting for a chance to test shooting pictures in a low-light environment, to see how our gadgets would capture the scenery (because we are preparing for some events in the near future *wink wink*).

We went to SM Mall of Asia today (and dropped by Nichkhun's fun meet along the way). Our target was to capture photos of the MOA Eye, which we have actually done before, but this time we are doing it during night time.

Little did we know that we were also in for some extra treats tonight. The fireworks display was in perfect timing when we went there.


Also, the moon is just in view for a perfect shot, on its way to set to the Western Manila Bay shore.



Venus was also visible near the horizon.

It was a three-birds-in-one-stone night. Looking at the sky tonight, It's hard to believe that just a few hours ago, the strongest typhoon on earth to make landfall this year has lashed the country.


Praying for all my fellowmen who have been strongly affected by the typhoon.
