For the last 3 months, I have been part of this small group organized by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Manila called the Wow Korea Supporters 2014. During those months, I have been to events like the K-Festival, which was full of activity booths and the Fil-Kor Cultural celebration, which exhibited Korean and Filipino colors.

As the program ends, I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to +Korea Tourism Organization Manila for giving me the chance to be part of the group and to express my support to their country.

Soon, I will be going to Seoul myself. I will experience all those stuff that I have promoted first-hand (the places, the food, the people, the culture!). I am very excited to finally go there.

감사합니다! See you soon Korea! ^_^

As part of the appreciation of this exchange of culture, the 23rd Filipino-Korean Cultural Festival was celebrated last Saturday at the Aliw Theater in Pasay City.

The event was hosted by Sam Oh and Jojo A.

Finalists of the talent contest also performed on stage.

Students from the Cainta Korean school performed with traditional Korean drums

Good Tree International School singing 'Arirang'

There were also balladeers who performed Korean and Filipino songs.

One performance that I got really entertained was the one from the Manila Hankuk Academy. They were a group of students that did skits while dancing to iconic Pinoy dance tracks.

This handsome kid was a crowd favorite. 😆 @ktomanila #WowKoreaSupporters #FilKorFestival2014

It was the Dance Movers Crew who bagged the prize and was crowned winner with their powerful dance on the beat of kpop dance remixes.

It was nice to see how the culture of the Philippines and Korea were performed and appreciated throughout the show. As a Filipino, it makes me proud to see our traditional dances being performed on stage, Also as a KPOP fan, I got to relate and connect more with the culture of Korea.

It's nice to see that the bond between the two countries are getting stronger.

대박! Mabuhay tayong lahat! :D

Calling all Korean enthusiasts out there! The start of the 17th Asian Games is slowly approaching and you have a chance to go to the opening ceremony itself on September 19 in Incheon! Read on to know how!

The Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee is giving away passes to the opening ceremony.

Visit this link to join!

Prizes at stake are Alive Museum tickets and tickets to the Asian Games opening ceremonies (with hotel accommodations)!

The opening ceremonies of the Asian games have always been grand and spectacular. The past ceremonies were held in huge stadiums with colorful presentations and performances.

Plus if you are a KPOP fan, you'd be happy to see JYJ, EXO, Big Bang, PSY, and Kim Soo Hyun perform live, right? (Me!! OMG JYJ+Big Bang+Kim Soo Hyun in one stage!! I would kill to grab hold of one of those tickets!!)

Well unlike me, you don't need to murder someone (Ψ(｀▽´)Ψ). Just click on the link to join the contest. Very simple.

Good luck and (hopefully) we'll see ourselves watching the opening ceremonies on September 19! :D :D :D

Amidst all the current life challenges that I am experiencing, a wonderful opportunity opened for me!

Yes that's right! I am among the 50 participants who, in partnership with Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Manila, will be helping promote the culture of Korea through social media networks online.

I love Korea. I don't know how much I have expressed this passion of mine in this blog (it's all over my wishlist last year). I also love blogging and promoting events online. That's why when KTO Manila made the announcement that they are looking for people active online who could help promote Korea, I immediately listed myself in! I was really not expecting to be selected, so I am very happy when I received the email notification from KTO. :D

With this, I am creating a new category on the blog for this!

Stay tuned on the blog for lots of exciting news about Korea. :)

감사합니다 KTO Manila! I will just continue what I love to do and promote the wonders of Korea!
