In my pursuit of learning to cook, I occasionally try recipes that I haven't tried preparing before. So far, adding up on the list are Bangus Sisig and White Adobo that I cooked weeks ago.
Aside from scanning my recipe books in search for an easy one to prepare, I stumbled upon an article in my ever helpful favorite website lifehacker on how to prepare cookies with just two ingredients. I immediately thought, really that's possible? So I read on. Apparently it's true! And the two ingredients that you will need are:
Don't believe me? Head on to this article to find out how to prepare this simple cookie. :D
Here's evidence that I actually made some of this. :D
Go try it out! It's very easy to make and it's actually healthy. :3

It's currently our vacation (it's the Holy Week) and since I'm just staying at home, I decided to explore my piano a little bit more. I discovered this function of the piano that enables the user to record songs using its different voices in parallel to each other. Since I was learning Kim Jaejoong's All Alone track for quite some time now, I decided to apply the different voices when playing it on the piano.
And here is the result!
I'm happy on how the different voices sounded together. :D

It's been a while back since I finished watching this korean drama Rooftop Prince which featured JYJ's Park Yoochun as the lead actor. This is the drama that he was shooting before he did I Miss You. I have done a previous post like this for that drama which covered the fashion style of actress Yoon Eun-hye. This time, I'm covering Jung Yumi, the actress who portrayed Hong Se Na in Rooftop Prince.
Her fashion in the drama has a trademark actually.

I liked how her clothes and accessories in the drama are mixed and matched, even up to the details of her nail polish. Because of her white complexion, bright-colored clothings suited her well. Her burgundy-colored hair made her even look paler.
The cold wet days of Winter have ended, and finally it's Spring once again! Flowers will be starting to bloom and nature will bring out its colorful side again!~ (´∀`)♡
Oh wait, okay okay I know. I actually live in a tropical country and there's no such thing as Winter and Spring for me. Hehe. These seasons might not hold true for me, but in other parts of the world, the cold snow is actually melting already, transitioning to the next season of Spring.
Thanks to this video, I am able to appreciate the wonders of nature during Spring especially in South Korea.
"A Love Story, in the Language of Flowers"
This six-minute promotional video of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), set in tourism attractions in Korea, shows off the country's beautiful flowers fully bloomed during Spring. It depicts two young lovers who go around the different locations taking pictures of these wonderful flowers. With very good cinematography, breathtaking shots and a romantic background music that play with it, this film will get you captivated as it speaks the universal language of love, music, and the wonders of nature. Every plant and flower symbolizes a trait, and as described and illustrated in the video, Azalea is Passion and Fragility, Persimmon Tree is a Beautiful Resting Place, Cherry Blossom is Pure Beauty, Green Tea is for Memories, Cole Flower is for Cheerfulness, Tulip is for Declaration of Love, and Green Barley is for Flourish.
I'm a huge music listener. I always have music or the radio in the background. In the morning, I tune in to The Morning Rush, with Chico, Del, and Gino at RX 93.1 Then on my way to work, I'd listen to music on my player. At work, I would have iTunes open on my laptop to listen to some classical music (they say it makes you think more effectively) or kpop (I don't understand the lyrics so I would be able to concentrate more). At night on my way home, I would listen to my podcasts. At night, I'd set the auto-power off on my player so that I could doze off to sleep while listening to some relaxing music of Enya.
I can't live without music. During college, there was this period when my player back then got broken and I had withdrawal syndromes because of that. I couldn't concentrate much on studies and my thoughts always had negative energies. I couldn't take it so I had to buy myself one cheap portable radio (our budget was very tight back then). Music really serves as my source of strength and inspiration whenever I feel down or depressed.
So that's a little background there on my relationship with music. :D Just this week, unfortunately, my ever-reliable player, Archie (which is an Archos 2 Vision) that I bought more than two years ago suddenly malfunctioned. I couldn't hear the main voice of the songs. The music sounded like that from a karaoke. I felt really frustrated so I told myself I had to buy a new one as soon as possible.
And so here it is, my new friend, Sonyiah*!
(Yes, my gadgets have names, and I think I am not the only one who does that. :p)

I have been thinking of writing something like this for a long while, and I thought this is the right time to do it, because I am beginning to feel that this little journey with these wonderful people are coming close to an end. Actually, some of them already have walked different paths, but still I am so grateful that I got to meet all of them. With that, I wanna make recognition to the ones who have helped a lot to make me who I am today.
I love this guy's sense of humor and sense for style. He's so fun to be with. During two-bottle sessions, we'd be a little intoxicated, but it was enough for us to tell some of our life's issues that I guess we won't be able to talk comfortably when we are sober. With him in the crowd, we'd surely have the best laughs for the night. He's such a cool guy. Also, I love his taste for fashion. He's also fond of kpop like me, so I guess that's where he gets the inspiration. Honestly, I believe that he's a straight guy, even if all of the people around say that he's not. :p
I didn't believe before that beauty, brains and a great personality could all be in one person until I met this amazing lady. She has a very nice aura, not just because of her charming face but also because of her very gentle personality. No wonder all the guys flock to her.
There are already thousands (or maybe millions?) of games out there for smartphones, but only a few remarkable ones exist for a cause. What's cooler than being able to have fun playing a game and at the same time help out in saving Mother Nature?
There's this one particular app that allows you to do just that. You have fun while helping out save endangered animals! App Labs Digital Studios Inc. has partnered with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines to bring you
It's a puzzle game application wherein the goal is to rescue endangered animals from various sea hazards.
The Game
There is this 8x6 grid with icons of animals and sea hazards. The goal of the game is to eliminate three or more of those sea hazards within one minute. The more hazards you eliminate, the higher the score you would earn.

Same Routine
Just like the first time, we scheduled our visit on a Friday at 11PM so that we could maximize our 12-hour stay at the Dry Sauna. It's also nice to stay overnight because there are only a few people there (and most of them just sleep during those hours) so you have all the freedom and privacy to roam around and stay at the wet and dry sauna rooms, and the ice room. We chose the Swedish massage and I'd say I prefer this than the Shiatsu-Swedish massage combination that I tried before. It was more relaxing and the strokes were more gentle. There's even a foot scrub massage included! I love the smell of their massage oils. Apparently they sell these by P200/bottle, which I think would be enough for 3-4 massage sessions.
New Discoveries
We were able to discover areas of Lasema that we did not get to visit before. The Common Room, which is a small room with long black chairs that could be lied on, has this shelf filled with mangas (they're all written in Korean unfortunately xD) and a small aquarium in the middle with fish swimming in it. We also got to sleep in one of the caves in the Sleeping Area. We again ate ramen, grilled eggs, and iced shikhye, and tried some new ones - gimbaps and patbingsu (which is like halo-halo).
There's also some cute figurines showing the traditional costumes of Korea. I didn't see these before. Maybe they're new?
I first heard this piano piece in We Got Married when Kang Sora played it for Leeteuk in one of the episodes. I immediately fell in love with it and also through this I discovered the music of Joe Hisaishi. It's just a short piano piece and I wanted to learn to play it.
I've been studying this piece for months, and now I've completed it! Yay!~ Click below (or if it doesn't display, click here). I've been repeatedly playing this in the house and dad has somehow memorized the melody because he always hums along whenever I play. xD
Now I'm searching for a new piece to study. :D
