It was both a first time for my sister and I to attend the Philippine Fashion Week. As far as I've known, this yearly event is a gathering of fashionistas from all over the country and this is a great opportunity to dress up. We are so thankful that there's a L'Oreal Paris Makeover booth in SMX to help the ladies look their best for the event.

The Corona impeachment trial was indeed a very historical event. On day 44 of the trial, the senator judges finally declare their conviction for Renato C. Corona, current Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
I did not follow the events of the trial so I know little information about the evidences laid out during the hearings and the arguments of each side. All I know is the fact that Corona was personally appointed by former president Gloria Arroyo as chief justice a month before the end of her term. Many people found this very fishy. This is the sole reason why I don't like Corona and why I doubt his credibility.
On the conviction day, each of the senator judges had the opportunity to make a speech regarding their decision for the convict. This is very interesting because the public got to hear the arguments of each of the senators. However, this also became a venue for some self-advertising (ehem, it's elections again next year).
This is definitely one of the most-awaited events in this year's Philippine Fashion Week. Huge personalities have been rumored to visit the country to endorse the clothing brand. Some of them are Ian Somerhalder (Vampire Diaries) and Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl). I myself got interested with the event because of this.
However, few days before the event, Ian posted in his twitter account that he was already packing for Europe. This confirms that he won't be participating for the PFW event. Penshoppe was considerate enough to hold a mall tour for Ian on the day of his departure so that fans could still see him up close.

Penshoppe's IMPACT was held at SMX Convention Center Hall 3 on Saturday evening. The turnout of the crowd was overwhelming.

This is my first time to see a fashion show wherein models do the catwalk on the runway so this was kinda new for me. :D
After a grueling day lining up and waiting for Ian Somerhalder's mall tour for his promotions for Penshoppe, me and my sister went for a walk along SM Mall of Asia facing the Manila Bay. It was around sunset so we had some opportunity to take some pictures of the scenery of the setting sun.

I've always loved sunsets. Equally, I love sunrises too. Actually the two are practically the same thing, just different positions and movements.
Today, I was able to witness the setting of the sun along the bay of Manila.
Lady Gaga's concert is the first ever event to be held in the newly-built SM Mall of Asia Arena! :D This is one of the reasons why I wanted to go to this concert. I was really curious on how the arena would look like and how it would compare to the SMART Araneta Coliseum. I am not sure but they say the Arena has a larger seating capacity than Araneta.

My friend and I purchased general admission tickets. It's the cheapest in the line, but it's still somehow expensive (for us). Well, it's THE Lady Gaga anyway. I'm telling you, the concert was worth every penny, even more. She was that good. :D I'll talk about that later.
Through a tweet of cassph,I came across this video of the Nanyang Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra performing one of TVXQ's song, 믿어요 (Miduhyo).
Playing just the first few seconds of the video, I felt like tearing up. It's just that I haven't heard of this song for quite a while, and I really liked the message of the song. Towards the end, real tears rolled down. T__T
I never dreamt of myself getting into any fashion event because I'm not really into those kinds of things. This is all because of my sister's influence that I'm actually going to attend one of the country's biggest fashion event and I am really anxious about it, to be honest.
What made me decide to actually come to the event goes down to this person: Ian Somerhalder. If not because of this effin handsome guy, I would not have done an impromptu shopping spree at a clothing store just to avail tickets for the show. xD Well anyway I am somehow glad that I did because not only my closet had just been (slightly) updated, I'm also even going to see that hunk in person, together with other stars like Mario Maurer (which I am fond of also), Ed Westwick, and Zac Efron.
I am actually attending one more event before attending to Penshoppe's Impact. I am excited and afraid at the same time. I don't want to look underdressed and out of place of course. Good thing my sister has good taste with clothes so she'll be the one to choose which clothes I would be wearing. Goodbye comfort zone. I can do this. :D

Actually, I don't think this can be classified as a 'review' for the books yet, because I'm even not half-way done with the first book. I am just kind of astounded of myself that I'm actually reading a book of its kind. To get things straight, Fifty Shades of Grey is an erotic romance novel.
It was actually my sister who discovered the book. It was through twitter. For the past few days she was repeatedly asking me if getting into this kind of book is okay with me. I didn't really pay attention at it first 'cause I was too busy, I guess, with my own stuff. Well not until yesterday, when she told me about a possible movie remake of the book, and one of the casts might be one of the guys in Vampire Diaries.
I am a 30-something student of life, documenting my journey to achieve my goals + other things that interest me under the sun.
