Walking Along Samcheongdong Road

This is one of my most favorite strolls during this trip. It's such a treat for the senses to walk here as there are lots of things to look at. There were rows and rows of unique building structures and designs. I knew I walked by these same roads previously because of the familiar infrastructures, but most of them were new to my eyes. I guess I'll just let these photos do the talking!

If I lived here, I would go to this road everyday to explore each and every store and establishment. If only we had more time, I would have wanted to spend more time here. However, we had a target location to reach and our time is very limited (it's nearing dusk now!). After some turns, we found ourselves seemingly lost again. We drew our last card and asked a local where the Bukchon village was. Thankfully because of that, we finally found our way.

At long last, we located the spot, that iconic long street Google images displays when searching for the village, where hundreds of tourist photos have been taken.

Mission accomplished! Here I am at long last at the literal tourist spot of the village. (📷: Mel N.)

There were only a handful of tourists at the area, maybe because it's already sunset and has started to get dim. I can just imagine the crowd here everyday. Bukchon Hanok Village, although a famous tourist spot, is still a residential area. Lots of doors bear signs requesting visitors to lower their voices to minimize the noise.
