Celebrating Philippine Independence Day Through Art, Designs, and Music [★]

June 24, 2012

It's the Philippine's independence month and as part of the celebration, SM Mall of Asia held an exhibit that shows the rich culture found in the Filipino History.

Dresses descending different generations across history were exhibited along the halls of the mall. The designs have evolved throughout the decades giving a glimpse of the rich culture that our country has.

Works of local designers were also displayed in the exhibit. Even if the designs are already modern, the Filipino art is still present within the intricate patterns.

Shoppers also got a treat as MOA also prepared a dance presentation featuring prime ballerina Ms. Lisa Macuja.
