Hair Makeover - Creations by Lourd Ramos

May 01, 2018

I think I'm still not over getting my hair bleached and colored (like I wanted to believe to) because several months after the last few inches of my bleached hair have been cut off, I found myself in a salon, prepping my hair for a balayage hair color treatment. The culprit is this promo I found at BeautyMNL. I knew my hair is already long overdue for a makeover, so I wasn't able to resist.

Hello! Getting ready to have a hair makeover! 😅
And so the voucher I got is a Balayage with Cynos Moroccan Argan Treatment by Creations by Lourd Ramos salon located in Mandaluyong. Good thing their location was really accessible because it was just near the Shaw Boulevard MRT station.

My stylist for that day was Marlon. I showed him 2 photos of the look I wanted, and he recommended the look that he thought matched my skin tone. He and her assistant (I wasn't able to catch her name 😐) worked on my hair. They first did the bleaching process by covering random hair strands around my hair in foil with the bleaching treatment. I think this procedure lasted for ~2 hours. I was getting sleepy waiting (I had no data signal on my phone so I ended up just using a quiz app to brush up my 한글 vocabulary which I found very productive! 👍).

After that, they washed my hair. I already saw the bleached strands! I wasn't able to take a photo of it though. 😅They blow dried my hair, and then applied the hair color treatment after. I had to wait ~15minutes again before they washed my hair again. Then they applied the Moroccan Argan Treatment. After working on my hair for a few more minutes (which involved drying again and curling!), here is the final look!

The color is not as bright as what I was expecting (based on the photos I showed them), but Marlon told me that the color of the bleached parts would look lighter after several hair wash. I actually liked how the color change on my hair was just subtle. It felt softer too (maybe it was the Moroccan Argan treatment). They recommended me this Revlon product to be used if I wanted the bleached part to become brown again (when the color has faded already). A staff took photos of my hair (which I recognized to be one of the faces that I see in BeautyMNL... cool!).

I'm looking forward to use those left-over hair dye that I still have though (in blue and red 😍). I think I'll wait for the colors to fade and see how I'd experiment with my hair again. 😅

Thanks BeautyMNL for this makeover promo!

  1. very beautiful hairstyle, but it seems to me that you would have a lighter color to shade the tone of the face

    1. I guess you're right, although it has actually become lighter now, after more than a week of washing.
