Q2 2022 Goals Evaluation

July 07, 2022

What a quarter. I think this was the busiest I have ever been post-pandemic (or when the lockdown was lifted), and it was a huge factor that  I have recently increased my ability to move around. All of a sudden, my activities expanded and I got to go around more. As a side effect I believe, I only got to post 2 blog posts for 2 months, which is a first for this 10-year-old blog! 😲There were also a lot of life-changing milestones in my life, and I'm still slowly finding my footing in this new situation.

Amidst the busyness, let's see how I did for the goals I have identified during the start of the quarter:

πŸƒ‍♀️Career - establish a routine to increase productivity
I'm still recovering from the slump I have experienced in the past months, and I'm slowly gearing back to my normal routine. I would consider this as still a WIP as I don't want to just return from my normal level of productivity -- I want to push my standards higher and do better with my job.

πŸ›‘ Financial - start a business πŸ˜„
I didn't have time to sit down and really give a thought and plan on this, and based on my recent life changes, I think I would need to place this one again on the back burner.

πŸ† Personal Development - tick off the πŸš— bucket list
Eyyy, I am very proud of my progress here. Each item in this bucket list made me anxious, nervous, and excited all at the same time. I am more than half-way the list, but I consider this now as a goal accomplished because I have totally exceeded my own expectations with myself on this. I learned that getting out of your comfort zone really allows you to grow stronger and wiser.  πŸ’–

πŸƒ‍♀️ Spiritual - write on a gratitude journal πŸ“–
I'm continuing this as part of my evening routine. I admit that I wasn't able to be consistent with this habit because I always was too tired during the night. I'm trying to establish a "hard stop" in my daily tasks to give way to my evening routine, which I do an hour before bedtime. The routine includes writing on my journal. ✒️

πŸƒ‍♀️ Educational - finish a Level 4 pathway project
I attempted to squeeze this in the schedule, but I really had to push back due to conflicting priorities. Hmmm, I need to slot this next quarter already, as I'm planning to go lie low with my Toastmasters activities soon.

πŸ† Relationship - plan meetups and staycations
This is another goal I'm brimming with pride because I was able to nail it! Hopefully I get to write my adventures here on the blog soon (through the Life Logs posts) so stay tuned for that!

πŸ† Physical and Health - finish 2 Chloe Ting challenges
I'm sooo happy I discovered Chloe Ting's channel! It's so fun to do workout challenges with virtual teammates, and that's what I thoroughly enjoyed in the two workout challenges I have participated in. Seeing my other team members log their progress in the challenge made me feel pressured and motivated to continue my own. I think this was a very clever idea from Chloe Ting's team. I'm excited to register for a new challenge again!

It was such a busy quarter. There were lots of events and activities, and now I'm catching up with recharging my introverted energy. I think I will plan less trips next quarter to focus on having more time for myself during the weekends. We'll see. πŸ™‚ Thank you Universe for all of these experiences! ✨
