PHILIPS Breastfeeding Week: A Toast to Nurturing Moms

Being a mother is a huge turning point to any woman. A lifetime of dedication with happiness and love is offered by a mother to her child, and one way of expressing this is through breastfeeding.

The Art of Breastfeeding. Philips Avent rang in the World Breastfeeding Week with an art exhibit entitled, “Breastfeeding Week Philippines” which featured the works of artists Khristina Manansala and Raqs Molota. The exhibit will run from August 2 to 8 at the SM Aura. This August, Philips, a global advocate of breastfeeding, is raising its glass to mothers and expectant mothers as it celebrates World Breastfeeding Week together with St. Luke’s Medical Center Global City and the Philippine Pediatric Society at the First Philippine Pediatric Society Annual Breastfeeding Congress.

This event happened on August 1 and 2 at the St. Luke’s Medical Center Global City. Targeted for healthcare professionals, the congress is set to feature talks by leading medical practitioners headed by Philippine Pediatric Society’s Dr. Cristina Bernardo.
