Clinique Products Haul [★]

November 14, 2015

There were lots of new things that happened for the past few months - new experiences, new skills, new discoveries. One of the new finds that I'm really learning to love is the line of CLINIQUE cosmetics!

My obsession with these products started during my most recent trip to the US. Some of my colleagues have already tried the product and they have positive reviews about it. Since these items are a lot cheaper there compared to local sellers here in the Philippines, they encouraged me to go try and purchase them while we were still there.

Shopping in CA
At the Duty Free store in San Francisco International Airport (SFO), I initially bought the travel size set of Type 3: Combination Oily skin. The price is just the same online, which is $26, but that would save the tax and shipping fees for me!

Travel-size kit! Yay!
I got to try this kit for more than a month now and I do noticed changes on my skin. Most evident one is the skin on my nose that became smoother (yay!). I'm actually using this kit together with a stay-matte pressed powder from Clinique also!

I bought this pressed powder at Sephora in Burlingame along with some other stuff (which I guess I will be talking about on another post). So far I am liking this powder because it blends well on my skin tone (because it's an invisible matte!). Usually at the office I always retouch when I go to the restroom, because my face becomes really oily and shiny just after a few hours. But ever since using this powder, sometimes I don't do retouches anymore because my face is still not that oily!

Online Shopping at Clinique.com
The craze for Clinique products commenced when one of my colleagues notified me that there's an online promo at Clinique's site. I checked it out and was amazed to see that they are giving away 8 items for free, for a minimum purchase of $27!

The free items included the following:

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+
Moisture Surge Overnight Mask
Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
Limited Edition All About Shadow Palette
High Impact Mascara
Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick
Super Balm Moisturizing Gloss
Cosmetics Bag

You may have noticed that there is one extra item on the photo above. That is a freebie I got from another online promo, wherein for a minimum of $50 purchase, you'll get a sample size of Clinique Happy Cologne!

So, those were just the freebies. What I really just bought online are the full sizes of the 3-step kit for Skin Type 4!

3-step set for Type 4 - Oily Skin

I didn't know that Clinique still has another set for the (really) oily skin so I was so happy when I saw this set on the online store. Currently I am using the 3-step kit for oily skin combination (oily only on the T-zone) but I believe this set is the best one to use for my skin type. 〜(^∇^〜)

shopping tip: If you are buying for the first time on their online site, enter coupon code WELCOME15 upon checking out to get 15% off from your total purchase!

For the longest time I was into Korean cosmetics (we bought these bunch of items during our travel in Seoul!), because it worked for me. I've been using those products for years now and I haven't noticed much changes anymore. Maybe I have "maxed out" the effects of the products on my skin? It's nice to have discovered something new that can actually still improve my skin. Currently I would be switching now to Clinique to see what this line of brand still has to offer for me. :)

    1. Hi Cassandra! I only got to discover Clinique recently and I am excited to try these freebies that I got! Though honestly I don't know how to use those eyeshadows so I guess I would still be searching for tutorials online.

Thanks for dropping by on the blog! :)
