Seoul Trip 2015: Day 1 ~ Bukchon (북촌) Hanok Village [★]

April 09, 2015

The Bukchon Hanok village is just walking distance from Gyeongbokgung Palace. With only Google Maps at hand with the GPS turned on, we made our way to the village.

We crossed this street from the palace to go to the Hanok Village.

We just followed the trail and soon enough, we saw these traditional houses along the street.

However we got a little lost and found ourselves along the shops at Samcheong-dong.

a leopard statue perched on the building wall! how cool is that!
We even passed this shop that was featured in one variety show (I think) starring Donghae!

We tried to do a detour, however we coudn't really find the entrance to the Bukchon village. So we just took pictures of the traditional houses that we saw along the way.

Aaah. :( We would have wanted to get to the place where the Heartstrings drama was shot. But we were too tired and we were running out of time already for our next itinerary which is all the way in Gangnam!

KPOP fans (especially of SMTown artists), tune in to my next post! :D
