Seoul Trip 2015: Day 4 ~ Cherry Blossoms at Yeouido Park [★]

June 22, 2015

This was also one of the highlights of our trip in Seoul - seeing cherry blossoms!

We scheduled our trip during Spring hoping to see all of Seoul's floral and fauna in full bloom. However based on what we have experienced in our trip to Nami Island a few days back, we couldn't help but worry that there might not be cherry blossoms in bloom yet in Yeouido park.

Where are the flowers? ヾ(*д*)ノ゛

Using again our GPS as guide, we walked towards the Yeouido stretch where all the flowers should be.

This is en route to Hangang Park too!
Little by little, we got to see some trees with the cherry blossoms in bloom!

This little path here became our "spot" for taking lots of pictures with the flowers!

We then met an ahjusshi (old man) who saw us taking pictures. He offered to take a photo of me and my sis, with which we happily obliged.

We talked a bit with him. We told him we're from the Philippines and are just staying at Seoul for the week. He told us to enjoy ourselves (kamsahamnida ahjusshi!).

We continued looking and taking photos of these lovely flowers. We can't seem to get enough of their beauty!

Ermm, why are all the cars colored grey?
We walked along this road for a bit. I dunno exactly but I think we were searching for the KBS building which was also nearby.

If only we knew how to ride a bike, we might have used these.

KBS and MBC are just nearby! :D
Mind you, it's a long walk from the Yeouido subway station to this spot. Since we were here already, we went and did a visit at KBS, one of the main broadcasting system in Korea! More details on that on the next post! :D
